Description – Pams Finest Fig Manuka Honey & Walnut Paste 125g

Pams Finest Fig Manuka Honey & Walnut Paste 125g is a carefully crafted fruit paste that brings together the natural sweetness of figs, the aromatic richness of manuka honey, and the subtle nutty depth of walnuts. This combination creates a smooth yet textured paste that enhances a wide range of cheeses and gourmet foods.

Made primarily from reconstituted figs, this paste offers a naturally sweet and fruity base with a soft, spreadable consistency. The addition of sugar and manuka honey deepens the sweetness while adding complexity and a distinctly New Zealand character. Manuka honey contributes a delicate floral note that elevates the overall flavour profile beyond standard fruit pastes.

Walnuts are finely incorporated into the mixture, adding subtle crunch and earthy richness. Although used in a small percentage, they play an important role in balancing the sweetness and adding depth to the texture.

The paste is thickened using natural stabilisers to ensure it holds its shape when sliced or spread, making it ideal for cheese boards and antipasto platters. Its consistency allows it to be cut into neat portions or spread easily onto crackers, bread, or crispbreads.

White vinegar and acidity regulators are included to balance sweetness and preserve freshness, ensuring a well-rounded flavour profile that is neither overly sugary nor flat. This balance makes it suitable for pairing with both mild and strong cheeses.

Pams Finest Fig Manuka Honey & Walnut Paste is particularly well-suited to entertaining. It enhances cheese boards by adding colour contrast, sweetness, and textural variety. It pairs exceptionally well with brie, camembert, blue cheese, aged cheddar, gouda, and goat cheese.

The paste also works beautifully in gourmet sandwiches, especially when combined with soft cheeses or roasted meats. It can be served alongside crackers, artisan breads, or added to grazing platters for a sophisticated touch.

Its 125g size is ideal for home entertaining, offering enough product for multiple servings while remaining convenient for storage and everyday use. It fits easily into pantry spaces and is ready whenever a cheese board or snack platter is prepared.

This fruit paste reflects the growing popularity of sweet and savoury pairing in modern New Zealand food culture. It offers a simple way to elevate everyday ingredients into gourmet-style presentations without complex preparation.

Whether used for casual snacking, formal entertaining, or gourmet food styling, it provides consistent flavour and visual appeal. The combination of figs, honey, and walnuts creates a well-balanced product that enhances both taste and presentation.
